Help shape the future of Freemasonry in Durham
Cornerstone members from across the Province are invited to the Durham Cornerstone Light Blues Conference on Saturday 14 November 2026 at Gateshead Masonic Hall, hosted by The Bewick Lodge No. 5988.
The future of Freemasonry in Durham rests with our Cornerstone members. This conference is an opportunity to come together, share ideas and explore how each of us can help shape that future.
Whether you already have ideas to contribute or are simply curious about getting more involved, your voice matters. We want every Cornerstone member to feel empowered to take part, ask questions and discover where their interests, experience and enthusiasm could make a difference.
Hear from our guest speakers
The conference will bring together speakers offering perspectives on membership, communications, the Festival and the next steps in the Masonic journey:
- Gavin Rowell will speak about the Durham 2032 Festival.
- Shaun Butler, from the United Grand Lodge of England, will discuss membership and communications.
- Representatives of the Royal Arch will offer insights into the next step in the Masonic journey.
Alongside hearing from our speakers, you will have the opportunity to meet members from across the Province, learn more about the opportunities available and share your ideas for the future.
You do not need to arrive with a plan or a particular role in mind. Come ready to listen, join the conversation and explore what you might do to support your Lodge, fellow members and the wider Province.
