A Conversation About Freemasonry
John Watts joined Gilly Hope live on BBC Radio Newcastle and Tees. During the interview, he spoke clearly about Freemasonry in Durham and across England. In addition, he explained how distinctive handshakes developed from these early craft traditions.
John then focused on the charitable work of Durham Freemasons. Every year, they donate more than £250,000 to support local good causes. This generosity makes a lasting and meaningful difference throughout the region, reinforcing Freemasonry’s commitment to community support and service.
