Windgate Lodge has a long and proud history, being formed in 1949, but is still a forward looking and happy lodge today.
We meet as a group of like-minded individuals from all walks of life with a common interest in supporting one another and the communities we live in.
Windgate Lodge meets in the Castle Eden Masonic Hall, situated on Stockton Road in the very picturesque village of Castle Eden, and is only 2 minutes off the A19 just South of Peterlee. It is very easy to find, being directly opposite the Castle Eden Inn.
What We Do
Windgate Lodge has always had a sound reputation for upholding the traditions of Freemasonry and has built this reputation around the core values of Integrity, Friendship, Respect and Charity.
We are actively involved in the local communities of our members and support good causes, local, national and international whenever we can.
