The Marquis of Granby Lodge (warranted by the Grand Lodge of England in 1763) has a history stemming back to the early eighteenth century with its earliest known minutes recorded on 24 June 1738. We endeavour to support worthy charities and help local communities. Today we are a vibrant group who believe in Integrity, Friendship, Respect and Charity. Whilst keeping the age-old traditions of the Lodge, we incorporate modern everyday requirements to enhance membership quality and a feeling of belonging.
What We Do
The Marquis of Granby Lodge prides itself on being a group of forward-thinking Masons with a common goal, to meet with like-minded people and enjoy each other’s company, whilst trying to make a difference, both in each other’s lives and in our local community.
Why Join Us
As one of the oldest Lodges in the country, we have a wide cross section of members who believe in living life to the full and working hard but above all, helping others whilst trying to have fun in the process. Our aim is always with charity in mind and assisting others.
