Agricola lodge started its life in 1961. It was founded as a Lodge with a strong farming or agricultural membership. With many of the members being farmers or those working in the supply or processing side of the industry.
The members are now from a more eclectic background from many walks of life but all have an interest in country life and the industries, that make the countryside a vibrant working environment.
Most members have a positive can-do attitude and like to get involved.
What We Do
Agricola lodge has a great charitable ethic. We give generously to many masonic and non-masonic charities and have raised outstanding amounts over many years.
This is done by working together and enjoying high quality dining experiences, to encourage visitors to our lodge.
We aim to maintain the true masonic principles of friendship, charity, respect, and integrity.
Why Join Us
We are a lodge with a relatively young membership many of our members are under 60 years of age. The overall age range is from 18 to over 80. Everyone is welcome and treated with respect.
We pride our selves on the quality of our dining, with many of our evenings being favourable events in the calendar of many masons throughout the county. We try to have fun and encourage a relaxed and respectful atmosphere.
We regularly bring in new members, which keeps the lodge vibrant and interesting. We like to give all members both new and longer established, the opportunity to be as involved as they want to be.
