Warm Hearts at St Cuthbert’s
On Sunday 25th November, the Past Provincial Grand Master, Norman Eric Heaviside, had great pleasure in presenting St Cuthbert’s Church in Shotley Bridge with a cheque for £1000 towards their heating refurbishment project.
St Cuthbert’s Church, is the Parish Church of Blackhill, Bridgehill & Shotley Bridge, where local Blackhill Freemasons took it upon themselves to raise funds towards a new heating system as winter approaches.
Linda Short, the Churchwarden of St Cuthbert’s Church was delighted to receive the cheque from Eric on behalf of the local parishioners, and expressed her sincere gratefulness for the generosity of local Freemasons.
Here’s hoping for a happy, successful and warm 2019 for the parishioners of St Cuthbert’s Church.
