Unique night at Hebburn
The Provincial Senior Grand Warden, Gavin Rowell, had a very pleasant task at the final Installation of Palmer Lodge No.9255 in Hebburn. In recognition of the lodge achieving 66% of its 2021 Festival target, he had the great pleasure in presenting Michael Graham, the lodge’s Charity Steward, with a silver Festival pin badge.
As the Representative of the Provincial Grand Master on the evening, it allowed Gavin the enormous pleasure in being present as Harry Prince became the final Master of Palmer Lodge. Harry is Gavin’s father-in-law and his proposer into Freemasonry. Palmer Lodge No. 9255 and Heabrym Lodge No.7201 will amalgamate into a new Hebburn Lodge in December.
The evening also allowed Michael Graham Jnr the opportunity to thank and invite members of the Comms Team who have helped and assisted him. Michael has served as part of the Comms Team for nearly a decade and was appointed Provincial Comms Officer in 2011, a post he served until his appointment as Assistant Provincial Grand Master in October 2018.
In recognition of Michael’s hard work and the standing he has in the Comms Team, Paul O’Doherty the new Provincial Coms Officer and his team, presented Michael with a pen and a set of cufflinks to celebrate Michael’s promotion to Assistant Provincial Grand Master and to thank him for all of his help and assistance he has given the Comms Team over the years.
