Lodge of Instruction

The Durham Provincial Lodge of Instruction was formed in 2006 under the sponsorship of Durham Lodge of Installed Masters No. 1492. It seeks to improve the delivery of the Mark Ritual by performing demonstrations on invitation and offering experienced volunteers to fill problem positions. The Officers of the Lodge are:- The Lodge of Instruction hold rehearsals across the Province The Annual Lodge of Instruction Festival next year will be held at the Blaydon, Masonic Hall. The cost of the meal is £10.00 payable to either W Bro Brain Harrison, W Bro Doug Quickmire or W Bro Fred Scott. The celebrations will start at 4.30pm with a demonstration of the Royal Ark Mariner Elevation Ceremony. This will be followed at 6.30pm when a demonstration of the Mark Degree Advancememt Ceremony. The evening will conclude with the festival meal. All Mark Master Masons and Royal ark Mariner's are eligible and are cordially invited to attend. The appropriate regalia must be worn at each ceremony. The Festival president in 2010 will be R W Bro Anthony Morris, PGM for Leicestershire and Rutland.
All Mark Master Masons are invited to become members of the Lodge of Instruction, which requires only a one-off payment of £25.00, and are encouraged to take an active part in the proceedings.
