R W Bro James Peter Croft was installed as
Provincial Grand Master on 9th May 1995.

He was advanced on 3rd October 1972 in Tyne Dock Mark Lodge No 759.  He was Worshipful Master of that Lodge in 1983.

His first appointment in Provincial Grand Mark Lodge was that of
Provincial Grand Treasurer in 1987 and he was appointed    
Past Provincial Grand Junior Warden in 1989.

He served in the office of Assistant Provincial Grand Secretary in 1992
and was Provincial Grand Secretary from 1993 to 1994.

He was appointed to the office of Assistant Provincial Grand Master in 1994.

And was appointed a member of the
Grand Masters Royal Ark Council in 2008.
