Ex Comp Derek Warneford was appointed and installed as Deputy Grand Superintendent on 26th August 2009

He was exalted into Liddell Chapter No 3616 in 1973 and served as their
1st Principal in 1987

In 1992 he was appointed to the office of Provincial 1st Assistant Grand Sojourner and in 1998 promoted to Past Provincial Grand Registrar

He was invested as Third Grand Principal of the Provincial Grand Chapter of Durham in 2003 and Second Grand Principal in 2006

Supreme Grand Chapter he was honoured as Grand Standard Bearer in 2004 and promoted to Past Grand Sword Bearer in 2010

In the Provincial Grand Lodge of Durham he was appointed Past Provincial Junior Grand Warden in 1991 and in Grand Lodge was appointed Past Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies in 1997
